Spanish Lake Fire Protection District
Announcement January 27th, 2020
Effective immediately, the Spanish Lake Fire Protection District is seeking interested persons to submit a Letter of Intent to apply with the District for employment for the purpose of establishing a pool of entry level candidates for the 2020 calendar year.
Interested persons may submit the Letter of Intent in person, Monday – Thursday, 9am – 3pm at:

The minimum requirements for employment at Spanish Lake Fire Protection District include a high school diploma or GED, a valid motor vehicle operator license, a valid Missouri Paramedic (EMT-P) License, and St. Louis County Fire Academy Firefighter 1 & 2 certification. A recent police records background check and a current Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) card must be presented prior to employment but is not required at time of submission of Letter of intent. A CPAT Card may be obtained by contacting the St. Louis County Fire Academy at 314-889-8670. Additional information about the CPAT test may also be viewed at the St. Louis County Fire Academy website.
U.S. Armed Services Veterans and minorities are strongly encouraged to submit a letter.
